Your First Visit to Our Watertown Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “warm and inviting” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding. So, make yourself at home!

Make Yourself at Home

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

A Partnership

The consultation also gives you an opportunity to tour our office, interview Dr. Trevens and learn a bit more about Specific Chiropractic. Since ours is a partnership approach to better health, it’s important that you’re comfortable with the personalities, procedures and policies of our office. The consultation is a great way to find that out.

The Next Step

If we don’t think we can help, we’ll tell you. If we think we can help, and you agree, we can usually proceed to the next step, which is a thorough chiropractic assessment.

The Chiropractic Assessment

The consultation helps us to determine if you’re likely to receive chiropractic care. Our thorough assessment might be very different than some other health practitioners you have visited. Our goal is to determine what areas of your spine and nervous system are involved and related to your health challenges. We utilize state of the art equipment such as thermography, and laser aligned x-rays as well as a hands-on chiropractic examination to help us obtain relevant and pertinent clinical information.

After your consultation and assessment, Dr. Trevens will bring you back to the front desk to schedule your second visit where we will discuss with you our findings and recommendations; but most importantly, we’ll get down to the business of helping you regain your health.

Dr. Bill Asks some important questions of interest to Watertown residents - Chiropractor Watertown Dr. Bill Asks...

How do you "catch" a cold?
Simply lower your resistance by avoiding the proper rest and exercise, eating lots of sugar and junk food, putting up with emotional stress and neglecting your nervous system by avoiding your chiropractor. You won't have to catch a cold because it will catch you!
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Watertown office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
